Leidy Johana y Leidy Yuliana Vasquez

Our names are Leidy Johanna y Leidy Yuliana Vasquez. We joined Minicol at an early age (5 years old).

Thru Minicol we were able to attend school and also get a spiritual education. We also received clases in music, dance, sewing,guitar, among other.

When we finished High School, our sponsor, Mauricio and Luz Gonzalez, decided to continue helping us, so we could attend college. Today, we are studying Veterinary and Zootechnia at the Universidad de Caldas.

We are now members of the Minicol Board, where we received a solid education, keeping us from the dangers that are common in poor neighborhoods. We learned to value work, patience and love, and the opportunity to achieve our goals.

We want to thank Minicol and all the generous persons that give of their time and money to help the needy.

Elizabeth Sosa Gallego

My name is Elizabeth Sosa Gallego. I joined Minicol at the early age of five.

I took clases in art ( painting ) and this has provided me additional income to cover some of my expenses.

Minicol works with the needy population, not only with the children, but the parents as well, teaching them to read and write, sewing clases and others  that improve their education and give them a better chance to achieve a better economic standard.

With the help of Minicol and the sponsors, today I am pursuing two careers, at Universidad Nacional, Comunications, and Universidad de Caldas, History
